The Environmental Resources & Policy GIS/RS facility is located in room 209 Parkinson Lab. This modern computing facility is well equipped and dedicated to meeting the technological and computing needs of Environmental Resources & Policy faculty, staff and students. The workspace is ergonomic in design and offers a relaxed atmosphere for research activities.
There is a wide variety of computer hardware and software available for many aspects of research use. Software packages range from analytical and statistical applications to office and remote sensing applications. Research equipment includes both handheld and survey grade GPS equipment, a laser total station, digital cameras and mobile presentation systems.
Environmental Resources & Policy faculty, staff and students are allowed access to the lab 24 hours a day. Please see the office specialist if you would like keys. Technical support with lab software/hardware, equipment checkout, and training is also available.
